Most homeowners don’t spend much time thinking about the roof during sunny days. The roof is simply up there doing its job, quietly protecting everything underneath it.

Then a heavy rainstorm arrives. Suddenly, the roof becomes the most important part of the house.

Heavy rainfall has a way of testing every component of a roofing system. What may appear perfectly fine during normal weather can reveal weaknesses when large amounts of water start moving across shingles, flashing, valleys, gutters, and downspouts.

Every component must work together effectively.
